Koyama Press published the first issue of Hellberta that contains a story of Wolverine’s revenge on the tar sands brings him into conflict with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Wolverine is crucified to an ‘X’ as he often is and the Phoenix conveniently appears to burn the whole world down and let it cycle anew. Hellberta was awarding the Pig Skin Peter for experimental comics at the 2012 Doug Wright Awards.
